I’m Emmitt Houston — Founder of EH Consulting and a lifelong Milwaukee resident.

My journey into IT started back in high school, where a great teacher sparked my curiosity and set me on a path of tinkering, building computers, learning to fix things, and helping people understand technology. That early encouragement has shaped the way I support clients to this day.

Over the last 20+ years, I’ve repaired systems, trained teams, supported departments at UWM, worked with local businesses, and helped hundreds of people feel more confident with their technology. Before all of that, I served as a Marine Corps Reservist, where I learned discipline, leadership, and the importance of taking care of the people beside you.

In 2019, I started EH Consulting after helping a friend, who launched a nonprofit. I realized how many small teams in Milwaukee needed excellent, honest, and committed IT support — without the complexity and overhead.

Today, I partner with a select number of small businesses and nonprofits (1–20 users) to reduce IT friction and create a secure, simple, modern workplace that just works — so you can stay focused on the mission that matters most.
